The man considered one of the leaders of the Outlaw country music scene and one of the best and most respected songwriters in America is making his way to the Okanagan Valley in early summer.
Cody Jinks might not be a household name, but he's still attained a massive fan base over the past decade and continues to sell out arenas and headline country music festivals across America and around the world.
Jinks, a multi-platinum singer-songwriter from Fort Worth, Texas, and his killer band, announced Friday they will be heading to 黑料社入口 and Prospera Place in early July as part of Jinks' Hippies and Cowboys tour.
Jinks recently released Cody Jinks Sings Lefty Frizzell, a tribute to the late honky-tonk legend, Lefty Frizzell, that includes covers of many fan-favourite tracks including, 鈥淚f You鈥檝e Got The Money I鈥檝e Got The Time.鈥
Jinks grew up near Fort Worth, Texas and cut his teeth in bars and honky-tonks. He gained fame by publicly announcing his unwillingness to play by corporate rules and never signed a record deal. He not only books his own tours, but sells his own records and merchandise online and without traditional record company support.
Jinks has released 10 full-length albums that regularly chart near the top of Billboard Country and Independent albums charts and he's accumulated more than 3.5 billion streams across platforms and eight songs certified platinum or gold
Jinks and his band are also recognized as one of the best live country bands performing today.
Jinks鈥 黑料社入口 show is happeneing Friday, July 5, one night after performing at the Abbotsford Centre.
Tickets go on presale through Live Nation and general sale next Friday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m.
Jinks has also announced he will release his version of the AC/DC hit, 鈥淚t鈥檚 A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 鈥榥鈥 Roll),鈥 on Feb. 14.
